According to recent articles by a variety of sources, it appears United Healthcare has filed with the Georgia Office of Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner to sell Qualified Health Plans (QHPs) on the Georgia Health Insurance Exchange for 2015. This is exciting news for Peach State residents, as United Healthcare is one of the largest insurers nationwide! Overall, it appears that United Healthcare will have a presence on 23 state exchanges for 2015. According to filing information we were able to obtain, it appears that United Healthcare has filed 10 plans to be sold on the Georgia Health Insurance Exchange for 2015. In addition, rate filing indicate that United Healthcare will use the Compass network for plans sold on the exchange. From our research, the Compass network appears to be new for 2015, we do not have any information on the Compass network currently, but will update this post as information becomes available!
